In all fairness i have had a pretty good weekend. Friday night was spent in Oxford at a noodle bar and ice cream parlour celebrating my friend's birthday, and yes, the photo of what looks like some sort of chocolate and ice cream concoction was my food, and yes, i did eat it all.
Today revision seemed an impossibility, and the only thing that was getting me through my art coursework was Pink Floyd and The Stranglers. On Vinyl, how hip.
Recently i've also been really into Dam Mantle. The person behind the name is Tom Marshallsay and creates experimental, electronic music. I first downloaded one of his tracks when i found him on the Urban Outfitters Music Monday playlist, and have been hooked ever since. It is something very different to what i would normally listen to, but the music is just as good. His EP is released on 25th July and a few of his videos and songs are on Last.FM, Soundcloud and Youtube now.
