kew, mcqueen and the backwards version of the horrors.

This week has actually, for me, been incredibly interesting. On Thursday i visited Kew Gardens.
I took photos, trying to look like an eccentric photographer however i just looked like a 15 year old with a Nikon (which i was) I've never realized how beautiful it is there, and it wasn't at all that busy, just full of school kids. Unfortunately i only spent around 2 hours there, which was only spent power walking to get round it all and sweating my face off in the greenhouses.

I've also been incredibly impressed with Sarah Burton, of Alexander McQueen, and her new collections. This was the 'Men's Spring/Summer 12 collection and 'Women's Pre-Spring/Summer 12 collection. I honestly love anything Alexander McQueen himself created and i had no doubt that Sarah was going to create clothes even more outstanding. Everything in the Women's collection i love and i'm now certain that i want one of the dresses below for my wedding or at least my prom. I'm even tempted to go in a tuxedo. I also temporarily fell in love with each of the male models that walked out on the catwalk in the men's collection.

However it isn't Kew Gardens, or the new McQueen collections that have impressed me the most, it is infact my recent discovery of 'Scarlet Fields - The Horrors (Backwards Version)' It is, possibly the greatest thing my ears have ever experienced, and it isn't even an official single. And normally songs played backwards just sound like songs played backwards with no beat or idea on what's going on. But this is something totally different, The Horrors must be an amazing band if their songs can be played backwards and still sound incredible.
